On Monday July 7th Jackson and Donovan went to Larkey Park for their first swim lessons. Even though I grew up in the water and could have taught them myself I knew they would love to be in a class with other kids. They were so excited and couldn't wait to get in the water! There were 3 other boys in the class, but one was too scared to get in, and dropped out after the first day. The other two were pretty scared and would not even get there hair wet, but Jack and Van immediately did and continue to "bob" under the water even when the teacher is not looking, which completely scares me! Jackson in particular likes to bob and hold his breath for as long as he can until he comes up! Hmmm wonder where he got that from LOL. They went 4 days last week and have 4 more classes next week, and are loving every minute of them!

what fun! that's great that they love the water, i can't imagine where that comes from??
We didn't end up going to the park in S.R. last Thursday, too much traffic. We ended up at Livornia Park in Alamo, so fun, Colin and I had the place to ourselves.....
That would be great park to meet up at, not too mnay crazy characters so it wouldn't be too hard to keep an eye on ALL the kids!
